The Apex board of the

As we have said
earlier that this step has taken as the precautionary measure. If everything
will be all right, then the game will be started from April 16 but this
happiness will come with some terms and conditions. Reports have presented that
BCCI has suggested and presented the franchises with eight different IPL
calendars. Besides, the reports also added that all the matches will be played
on six to seven venues that depend upon the clearance given by the state
government. This happens when the Delhi government did not give its clearance
for hosting IPL as the government had issued an order to avoid the public
gathering. This comes in after the Delhi government did not give its clearance
for the state to host the IPL.
According to the
reports, the first possible schedule of the IPL was starting from April 16 and
running till the end of May. Possibly, the tournament was going to held for 46
days. 60 matches will be played, with 17 doubleheader games. On the other hand,
they have an option of having 21 doubleheader games that can reduce the days of
the event to a 42.

If by any means, the
game is delayed by four more days, the BCCI had already fixed with the league
starting from April 20 till the end of May. In this fixture, the numbers of
the games are well come to low-down at 44 matches across 42 days, with 10
matches per team.
Two more options are
available in the game starts from April 20. Both of them run till May 24, where
35 days of IPL action will be going to held. In the two respective schedules,
one will be 44-match tournament while the other will be a 32-match tournament,
with seven games per franchise in the group stage and then eliminator and finals.
If the tournament does
not start until the beginning of May, then the tournament will be reduced to
the 31 days tournament with 32 matches including 6-afternoon games. At this
point of time, neither the BCCI nor the IPL governing council has decided the date
of the tournament.
